Frequently Asked Questions

What is your therapeutic approach?

My therapeutic approach integrates mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and humanistic perspectives. I emphasize empowerment, self-awareness, and a holistic (bio-psychosocial) understanding of each individual to create a safe, supportive space for developing effective coping strategies.

Do you offer virtual or in-person appointments?

In-person and virtual (telehealth) appointments are both available. My practice is designed to accommodate your preferences while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professional care.

What ages and populations do you work with?

I work with adults and adolescents (age 16+) from diverse cultural, social, and personal backgrounds. I strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every individual feels empowered to express themselves openly.

Which insurance plans do you accept?

Nancy E. Reigle, PhD, LLC accepts Aetna, United Healthcare, Optum/Oscar, Cigna, Medicare, and most Medicare supplements, as well as Devote Health. Please call your member services to verify your specific outpatient mental health benefits.

Can I receive out-of-network reimbursement?

If Nancy E. Reigle, PhD, LLC does not take your insurance, you may be eligible for Out-of-Network reimbursement with appropriate documentation. After each session, you will be able to get a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider.

What are your fees and payment options?

I accept all major credit cards, including Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Cards. Patients are required to keep a card on file, and payment is due at the time of session. Many clients choose private pay to maintain total privacy and control over their mental health records.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session for the time that was specifically reserved for you.

Do you conduct psychological or psychoeducational evaluations?

My practice focuses exclusively on psychotherapy; I do not conduct psychological or psychoeducational evaluations. I prioritize clinical treatment aimed at fostering lasting emotional wellness and insight.

What should I check before my first session regarding insurance?

PLEASE CALL MEMBER SERVICES TO KNOW YOUR OUTPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH BENEFITS AND UNDERSTAND YOUR COVERAGE. All medical plans are different and our office cannot tell you what your mental health benefits are by looking at your insurance card. You are responsible for full payment of charges that the insurance company does not cover.
